Ekaterina Aseeva is Russian-born photographer, currently based in Paris.
Originally formated as a clinical psychologist in Moscow she specialised in psychotheraphy and psychoanalysis. Over time and psychological practice, the deep interest to all aspects of human nature and personality slowly navigated her to the desire of « reading » and communicating with people through the camera.
Involved in this new sphere and gaining experience she slowly extended her photographer's practice to the aesthetic of fashion images and the fashion world.
That was the beginning of big life changes encouraging photographer abandon her homeland and move to Paris to have a chance to fully concentrate on the work specializing in editorial, fashion, beauty, commercial and portrait photography. That experience identified her own pattern of visual perception and a signature style which is vibrant, artistic and subtle.
